Producer, keyboardist & music director

Or rather called ‘Ricardo’ by family and friends, started his musical journey at age 12. The first instrument he touched was a drumkit. After the first played note, every thing became clear. This was it! Music became his life.

In the early years of being professional keyboardist, the stage was shared with a lot of Idols and X-Factor talents. As a main pianist for Nigel Brown and also working for Dewi Pechler’s “Dewi’s Jam”. This resulted in cooperations with Sharon Kips, Shirma Rouse, Wudstik, Marcel Veenendaal and many others.

Later on the interest kindly shifted from fulltime keyboardist to creating and directing shows. In stead of pursuing a career of session-musician, Andy Ricardo focussed on being main keyboardist for different artists/bands. The most recent being Diggie Dex and Dio Braaf. This created more time to work as a Musical Director. Many bands where created, with one being a liveband for “The Opposites”. Currently there is just one band that Andy Ricardo is performing in on a main base. This is the liveband of rapper Gers Pardoel. This band is also founded and Directed by Andy Ricardo.

At age 18, a big and new interest was born. Not only performing live, but also creating and producing songs became a daily occupation. With some gained experience from the live-scene, a lot of hard work and a good mentor, also this part was quickly raised to a professional level.

Hip-Hop and Hitproducer Reverse gained his interest in hearing Andy Ricardo play. Ever since the first day at the studio, magic happend at this collaboration!

With most of the studio work done together with Reverse, a lot has been achieved. A lot of music in The Netherlands was released, containing the biggest hit in the history of the Dutch Charts called “Ik Neem Je Mee”. But also outside of the borders of Europe. The studio has been shared with many big artists like Kelly Rowland, Slash and Christina Milian. Also DJ’s (Chucky), producers (Tricky Stewart) and songwriters.
